Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years, Regina Lindsey, his daughters, Kristen and Don Hodgdon and their children Jared and Sarah; Andria and Terry Kintner and their children Zachary, Makayla, and Samantha; Jacqueline and Jamie Kelly and their children Elizabeth and Owen; and his son Alexander Lindsey. He is also survived by his brother, Gary (his best friend) and Marilyn Lindsey; his sisters- in-law, Suzanne and Greg Wolf; Anita and Randy Ott; Marie Askew; and his brother-in-law, Anthony and Michele Vojtisek. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Kathryn Lindsey. In addition to those above, Dave was surrounded and loved by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, life- long family friends, kind and generous neighbors, and all of his buddies especially Howard, Jack, John, and Paul. Dave was a member of the Army National Guard and during his life enjoyed a successful business career.

He was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Endicott for over fifty years. Dave was an organ donor recipient. We would like to give a special thank you to that donor for his generous gift. His of gave our family the opportunity for an additional seven years with this wonderful man, years that we spent on vacations, having family dinners, attending grandkid sporting events and just taking each and every chance to laugh with him and show him our love.

His loss will leave our family with a hole in our hearts and lives. Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11 am at St. Joseph Church, 207 Hayes Avenue, Endicott. Albany, NY 12203. Lindsey, David H. Wilene Doxey, 81, of Greene passed away on September 10, 2017 at the NYS Veterans Home, Oxford. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, David and Katherine Doxey of Marathon, NY and Darin and Kandy Doxey of Avon, OH; her brothers, Ronald Goffe of Beaver Creek, OH, and Donald Goffe of Miamisburg, OH; her sister, Janes Schafer and her grandchildren, Jared, Andrew, Hunter and Jacob Doxey. She was predeceased by husband, Gerald Doxey; her sister, Eloise Hill, and her brothers, James Goffe and Jerry Goffe.

Wilene She worked for the Town of Greene for several years. She was Chenango County Bingo Inspector for many years. She loved cardinals and cooking for her friends and neighbors. Wilene, Doxey Our beloved Erik M. Colon, 36, died at Albany Medical Center on September 3, 2017 due to complications with Diabetes. He is predeceased by his father, Hector M. Colon, aunt, Gladys Colon, and aunt and uncle Mimi and Louie Del Valle. Erik is survived by his wife, Ivy, daughter, Adrienne Colon, mother, Milagros Colon, and brothers Andy and Joey Colon.

He is also survived by his nephews Alex and Aiden and nieces Avianna and Janihyah, along with several cousins, uncles, aunts and many devoted family friends. passion for his family, his students and the university community will continue to live on through his impact. He loved being involved in community service projects, traveling, technology gadgets, jigsaw puzzles and dancing. His affiliations included Academic Counselor, Educational Opportunity Program at Binghamton University and served as Parliamentarian for the Faculty and Staff of Color Association. A member of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA), National Academic Advisors Association (NACADA), served as the NACADA New York state representative for Region 1 and as registration co-chair for its Regional Conference.

The family will receive friends at Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, N.Y. on Thursday, September 14th from 5-9 pm with a service at 7 pm. Colon, Erik Jean Connerton, 91 years old, died peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Fairview Good Shepherd, Binghamton, New York.

She was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, John Connerton and infant daughter, Jane. Jean is survived by her daughter, Rita, her children, Chloe and Claudia Kotchick; her son, John, his children, Jake (Cynde) and Drew Connerton and month old great grandson, John IV. She is also survived by her sister Lorraine Johnson, sisters- in-law Lillian Carros, Betty Carros and Rosemary Connerton as well as nieces and nephews. Jean was a bank teller at First City National Bank, Courthouse Square for 25 years. She was a lifelong parishioner of St.

Thomas Aquinas Church. She loved to sew and garden. She took a walk every day that she could with her dog or Rita's. She loved her porch on Crary Avenue and a Manhattan with the girls. The family thanks the staff at Good Shepherd-Fairview Home for their loving care of Jean during the last three years.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton, Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.

Connerton, Jean M. Elizabeth R. Hornbeck 86, of Binghamton passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 7, 2017. She is predeacased by her parents George and Ida Raps; husband of 46 years George Hornbeck; infant daughter Melanie Hornbeck; son Daniel Hornbeck. She is survived by her daughter and son- in-law Darlene and Gino Bucciarelli; granddaughter Giuliana Bucciarelli; step-son Rick Hornbeck and wife Susan; godchildren Heidi and Jonathan Arnold; sister-in-law Lorraine Nowik.

Betty was a teachers Aide at Broome Developmental Center where she retired, she was a licensed hairdresser at Hair Salon in Binghamton. After retiring, she was a care giver to many though the years. Everyone who knew her, knew her great love of chocolate. Betty loved crocheting, line dancing and she had hundreds of cookbooks, which she loved to read. Her granddaughter Giuliana was her pride and joy, Betty will be dearly missed by all.

Visitation will be held at the THOMAS J. SHEA Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904 on Thursday from 4 until 6pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 6pm with Rev.

Adams St. Syracuse, NY 13210. Hornbeck, Elizabeth "Betty" Robert L. Nichols, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. The son of Ray and Annette Pier Nichols, he leaves behind a legacy of faithfully witnessing for the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Ray and Bill Nichols. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years, Brenda Nichols; brother, Harold (Ruth) Nichols; sister, June Paolucci; four children, Terry (Joel) Nichols, Wayne (Lisa) Nichols, Brian (Colleen) Nichols, Shelly (Chris) Nichols; five grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew (Laura), Sarah, Ashley, and Stephanie; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Richard (Peggie) Walworth. He graduated from Nicholson High School and held many labor intensive jobs ranging from quarry work and wood cutting, to the Hallstead Foundry. His final employment was being a security guard at Lourdes Hospital, where he was employed for 25 years until his retirement at the age of 65. Even after retirement, his strong work ethic kept him active in the stone quarry and in the woods.

When he was not working, he spent his downtime enjoying some of his favorite hobbies, hunting, fishing, trapping, and softball. He pursued these activities from a young age and excelled in them like few others. Most important to his heart was his work for the Lord. He was an active member of the South New Milford Baptist Church for over 40 years. Throughout those years he served as deacon, trustee, Sunday School Superintendent, Awana assistant, and softball coach.

He treated each of these ministries as an opportunity to share his testimony and witness for the Lord. It was his passion to share his faith with all he met, communicating message with the same openness and determination that characterized all he did. A funeral service will be held at noon, Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA with Pastor Larry Thomas. Interment will be made in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call from 10-12 at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Salmon, 48, of Rome, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, with his loving family at his side.

He was born on August 31, 1969, in Johnson City, N.Y. He was presently employed at the Family Dollar Distribution Center in Rome. On June 21, 2003, he was united in marriage to Michele Matts, in a ceremony which took place in Chenango Valley, New York. He was an avid N.Y. Jets fan and dedicated husband and father.

Billy truly enjoyed working at the family Dollar Distribution Center and considered his coworkers as his second family. He is survived by his parents; William and Elizabeth Salmon of Johnson City, N.Y.; a very special Aunt, Anna Brozovic of Johnson City, N.Y.; his beloved wife Michele Salmon of Rome; two sons, David Gordon of Rome, Shawn Gordon of Endicott, N.Y.; a brother and sister-in-law, Shawn and Diana Salmon, TX; two sisters and brothers -in-law, Elizabeth and Jeffrey Smith of Maine N.Y., Carolyn and Shawn May of Vestal, N.Y.; three brothers-in- law, William (Debra) Matts, Endicott, N.Y., Robert (Beth) Bryant, North Carolina, David (Charlene) Matts, Washington; ten grandchildren; one great granddaughter; a niece, Ashley Smith; nephew, Michael May; and special canine companion, Buddy. He will be forever in our hearts and our lives will never be the same. Funeral services are private and there are no calling hours.
